Non-Fiction ReviewsI'm Not Anti-Business, I'm Anti-Idiot |
|
| Scott Adams Andrews McMeel Publishing 1998 $9.95 US |
I will be honest . . . I had quite a time determining if this book should be placed in the Fiction reviews or in the Other Non-Computer Related, Non-Fiction reviews. While I finally decided to place this review in the fiction area, you should be aware that much of the book is based on fact. I've seen these people in real life. Honest!
All kidding aside, I was first introduced to Dilbert and the rest at a Microsoft session held in Kansas City back in 1996. There is so much truth in what Scott Adams says about corporations, the business world, and the computer industry in general that I don't know why he's not in hiding under an assumed name in some kind of a witness protection program.
This book is a continuation of his previous works that examine life in the corporation cubicle. If you haven't been reading them in the past, you should start now.
My recommendation is buy this book and laugh . . . laugh . . . laugh . . .
